Stuart
Co-Owner & Director
Stuart’s journey in the motor trade began at just 13 years old, sweeping showroom floors, making coffee for customers, and assisting with test drives at a local independent dealership. It was there that his passion for cars took root, along with a drive to succeed in automotive sales.
Leaving school at 16, Stuart stepped into a trainee sales role and steadily progressed over the next decade to become Sales Manager, working closely alongside Philip, the Sales Director. When Philip proposed starting a business together, the vision for Auto Centre Inverurie was born — officially opening its doors in March 2005.
Stuart’s founding mission still defines the company ethos today: to present the highest quality vehicles with an unrivalled level of customer service.
When not in the showroom or out sourcing stock, Stuart enjoys time on the golf course, walking the hills with his dogs, or relaxing with his family.
Philip
Co-owner & Director
Nearly 40 years ago, Philip began his motor trade career washing cars on Saturdays for a local family-run business. After finishing school, he accepted a full-time role with the same company, where he spent almost 18 years and rose to the position of Sales Director.
Driven by ambition and a desire to run his own business, Philip “took the bull by the horns” in 2005, joining forces with Stuart to establish Auto Centre Inverurie. Launching the business while raising two young children was no easy task, but with the support of family and friends, the venture quickly grew from strength to strength.
From the very beginning, Philip’s focus has been clear: to provide top-quality vehicles presented to the highest standard, paired with exceptional customer service—a commitment that remains at the heart of the business today.Outside of work, Philip enjoys keeping active at the gym, cycling, and hill walking. He also treasures time spent with family and friends and is delighted to have recently become a proud grandfather.
Clair
Accounts Manager
Clair has been a cornerstone of Auto Centre Inverurie since day one. While Stuart and Philip knew how to buy and sell cars, managing the accounts was a different story — and Clair was thrown in at the deep end. She quickly mastered the financial side of the business, building systems and routines that keep everything running smoothly.
To this day, every penny is tracked — from detailed Excel spreadsheets to more advanced accounting platforms — thanks to Clair’s meticulous approach and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
Alongside her role at the Auto Centre, Clair balances a busy home life with Stuart, their daughters, and two lively dogs — proving she’s just as capable juggling family life as she is the books.

Steph joined Auto Centre Inverurie in March 2025 and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Bringing a wealth of motor industry experience, she began her career at 19 with a multi-franchise dealer group, gaining hands-on knowledge across prestigious brands including Land Rover and Porsche.
Her passion for customer experience shines through, with glowing feedback from clients in just a short time. Managing the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop is no small feat, but Steph tackles every challenge head-on and consistently delivers results.
Her infectious laugh and bubbly personality make the service department a genuinely enjoyable place to be — for both staff and customers alike.

Scott
Service Technician & MOT Tester
Scott is the longest-serving member of the Auto Centre Inverurie team, having started as an apprentice technician in 2006 and fully qualifying in 2010. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to stay ahead of the curve, continually updating his skills to keep pace with modern vehicles and evolving automotive technology.
But Scott’s talents don’t stop at cars — he’s equally handy with a hammer and nails. A natural builder, he recently constructed a garage at home to house his meticulously restored vintage David Brown tractor, a project that reflects his patience, precision, and pride in craftsmanship.
Scott’s commitment to doing things properly is second to none. He’s a trusted mentor to his colleagues, always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge. Auto Centre Inverurie owes much to his loyalty, work ethic, and the high standards he upholds every day.
No doubt, his family will be incredibly proud of all he’s achieved — both in his career and in the way he quietly leads by example.
David
Service Technician & MOT Tester
David joined Auto Centre Inverurie in December 2024, and we’re genuinely delighted to have him on board. A highly skilled technician with extensive experience in performance, prestige, and luxury vehicles, David brings a depth of knowledge that’s hard to match.
He began his career as an Audi apprentice, spending twelve years with the brand and completing a wide range of advanced training — ultimately earning the prestigious Audi Sport Master Technician qualification. From there, he moved to Porsche, where he spent five years honing his skills across the full range, including the cutting-edge electric Taycan.
David has had the rare opportunity to work on some truly exceptional vehicles, including the legendary Porsche 962 Le Mans race car and the ultra-valuable Porsche GT1 — experiences that speak to both his technical ability and trusted reputation.
His problem-solving mindset and commitment to doing things properly make him a real asset to the team. And while he may carry a touch of grumpiness now and then, it’s all part of the charm — we wouldn’t have him any other way.
Natalie
Service Technician & MOT Tester
Natalie joined Auto Centre Inverurie in February 2023, shortly after completing her apprenticeship with the local Porsche dealership. She earned her qualifications at the highest level with Porsche, gaining deep technical knowledge across the brand — but her ambition didn’t stop there.
Keen to broaden her experience across multiple manufacturers, Natalie chose to join an independent dealership like ours, where variety and challenge are part of everyday life. While she may have her preferences (Land Rover isn’t top of the list), she’s always open to learning something new.
When the opportunity arose to become an MOT tester, Natalie didn’t hesitate — she booked the course, earned her certification, and added another string to her bow.
Hardworking, focused, and always willing to help, Natalie is a genuine asset to the team and a joy to work alongside. And when she’s not under the bonnet, you’ll likely find her behind the wheel of her Mini race car — expertly navigating the track at Knockhill with the same precision and determination she brings to the workshop.
Ryan
Senior Valeter
Ryan joined Auto Centre Inverurie in 2008 with no prior experience in car valeting — but with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for cars, he approached the role with bags of enthusiasm.
Today, when customers talk about what sets Auto Centre Inverurie apart, it’s often the exceptional presentation of our cars — and Ryan deserves much of the credit. He sets an incredibly high standard that others in the valeting team strive to match, leading by example with consistency, pride, and precision.
Colleagues who’ve worked alongside Ryan will vouch for his tireless work ethic and the respect he’s earned across the business. Over the years, he’s become more than a team member — he’s a friend to staff and customers alike.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys life with his wife and their dog, As far as we’re concerned, wherever there’s Auto Centre Inverurie, we hope there’s Ryan.

Valeter
Connor joined Auto Centre Inverurie in early 2024 and quickly integrated his own process into our established standards — and it’s working brilliantly. Always looking for ways to improve, Connor regularly experiments with new products and techniques to elevate the finish and efficiency of our detailing work.
He has a natural talent for paint correction and coating, with a relentless focus on achieving the best possible result. It’s fair to say Connor was born for this job — often spotted crouched down, inspecting a panel for even the slightest blemish. His eye for detail is second to none.
When he’s not perfecting our stock cars, he’s likely helping a mate with their paintwork or prepping something special for an upcoming truck show. Connor’s passion, precision, and drive make him a standout member of the team.

She is currently working towards her SVQ in Customer Service, with completion expected by mid-2026 — a reflection of her commitment to delivering excellent service and growing her skills.
When she’s not coordinating bookings or assisting customers, Emily enjoys taking the occasional spin in some of our stock cars — with a particular soft spot for the Audi RS3.
